This prestigious award grants Mr. Bhatt certification from the organization and a position as one of North America's Outstanding Chefs. Fine Indian cuisine requires mastering the art of tandoori (clay oven) cooking. Assisting Mr. Bhatt is Chef Sohan Singh with over 30 years experience. Mr. Singh has worked in Ashoka Hotel, one of India's top 5-star rated hotels. He has also worked in Japan and has been practicing his art in the Washington D.C. area for over 14 years.
